Everything starts with a dream, right? The drive to succeed, the drive to be the best, the drive to serve our communities fuel our every day lives. IWN gives us the opportunity to take our passion for weather and give back in so many ways and was founded on these passions. All of us guys here at IWN wake up every day with a fire to bring the most life-saving weather information to as many people across the state as we can. Together we make up a phenomenal team that is constantly pushing to provide more information and potentially bring disaster relief to the communities that make our state of Indiana so great. Founded in 2022, the fuse has just been lit and you won’t want to miss take-off.

Casey Heckenlaible

My name is Casey, I'm an easy going animal and nature lover. I have been chasing storms for a little over 4 years but been in love with weather most of my life. Outside of storm chasing I have a small hobby farm of chickens and bunnies. For work I am an assembly associate for Subaru. I also have a few little hobbies like woodworking, Blacksmithing, And working on cars.

Cory Stamper

Hello! My name is Cory and I have been chasing storms for the last 10 years, 2 years with IWN. When I’m not chasing,I work full time as the Inspector for the Vigo County Highway Dept. I have also spent the last 22 years as a firefighter and EMT, and I’m currently the Asst. Chief of Shepardsville Fire Dept. During the summer you can catch me running the Track Rescue Team at the Terre Haute Action Track!

Tiffany Denise

I never expected a fear of storms to change my life. I joined the Indiana Weather Network hoping to better understand severe weather so I wouldn’t be afraid anymore. Instead, I found confidence, lifelong knowledge, and an incredible team that became like family. Today I’m a proud mom of 3, blessed with 5 bonus kids, an Inside Sales Team Lead by day, and happiest when I’m hiking trails, chasing waterfalls, or watching the beauty and power of the skies.

Kory Stewart

Randolph County resident, dedicated firefighter/EMT, and veteran storm chaser. I’ve spent years serving my community in emergency services and 10 years chasing severe weather on and off across the region. As an original team member of the Indiana Weather Network, I’ve been there since day one helping to cover the storms that impact our communities. Best of all, my wife and daughter are my ultimate chase partners, turning a passion for meteorology into a family tradition.

Stephen Berggren

I’m a prior military servicemember and former EMA deputy who still enjoys serving my community as a Reserve Deputy with the Fulton County Sheriff’s Department and a member of the Fulton County CERT Team. When I’m not volunteering or on duty, you’ll usually find me outdoors, whether it’s riding, exploring, or chasing the next adventure.

Cody Fields

Hi, I'm Cody! I'm a 35 year old third-generation steelworker born and raised in Northwest Indiana. I'm happily married to my beautiful wife Morgan, and we're proud dog/horse parents! I've only been actively chasing storms for about 5 years, but I've been studying and educating myself on severe weather for as long as I can remember. From watching Twister, Storm Chasers, and Storm Stories on repeat growing up, to making it my own passion has truly been a blessing! Sarah Barrick

I joined IWN in February of 2024 and have been chasing with them ever since! Chasing is a passion for me for a few reasons: First, it’s the reminder that Mother Nature is powerful, unpredictable, beautiful, and needs to be respected. Second, it’s an opportunity to help protect life and property and provide ground truth. Radars can only see so much, so we are the eyes on the ground providing real time information. The weather is always changing and evolving, so every chase is a new experience and an opportunity to learn. In my downtime I am usually reading, hiking, or playing video games!

Dakota Riedlinger

Hey everyone! I’m Dakota, and I’m 21. I have 7 months of chasing experience under my belt along with 3 months with IWN. In my free time, I teach music, and love to watch racing!

Reese Weil

I’m Reese Weil, a storm chaser with three years of experience and a lifelong passion for weather. I own a business escorting superloads across the United States and lead a nonprofit dedicated to disaster relief. My work has taken me to many affected communities, including spending over a month serving in North Carolina following Hurricane Helene.

Our Moderators

At Indiana Weather Network, we have an extremely dedicated team of Moderators who are awake and active with us during ALL streams. Whether it is severe weather, winter weather, or anything in between, our moderators are always keeping our comment sections clean, appropriate, and safe. They are vital to our operations and we wouldn’t be where we are today without them!
